Azerbaijan has not forgotten Palestine either
It is the right strategy for Azerbaijan to pay attention to relations with Israel as well as with Palestine. Along with opening an embassy in Israel, Azerbaijan decided to open a representative office in Palestine. Other state officials also go to Palestine after concluding their visit to Israel. This allows maintaining the balance between Israel and Palestine. The fact that Azerbaijan opened an embassy in Israel does not worry Palestine, and Israel does not worry about the opening of Azerbaijan's representative office in Palestine. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki thanked Azerbaijan for its support for the Palestinian people's desire for freedom and for supporting Palestine on international platforms at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov. Azerbaijan allocates scholarships for 25 Palestinian students every year, and will build a school in the Nablus region in parallel. While they exist, no state can accuse us of forgetting Palestine in the background of strategic cooperation with Israel.
