Russia strongly opposes the European Union mission in Armenia. Emphasizing that this mission has military objectives, Russian officials and experts close to the Kremlin highlight two factors. First, Brussels wants to suppress Russia in Armenia. Secondly, through the Brussels military mission, it is trying to collect intelligence information about the military centers of Russia and Iran over Armenia.
While Russia protests so much, Iran does not make a sound, it does not warn its brother Armenia. This displeases Moscow. Because Moscow wants Tehran to take action. Tehran will be forced to join Moscow after the European Union military mission expands its activities in Armenia.
