A border service will be established on the Lachin road

The fact that the Azerbaijani military took control of the land road without entering Shusha on March 25 increased the need to establish a border crossing point at the intersection of the Lachin road. After the Azerbaijani activists started protesting on the Lachin road, Armenia did not risk sending a large amount of weapons and ammunition to the separatists through this road. It is true that cargo could be sent in Russian vehicles, but they calculated the risks of this. Therefore, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, together with the Russian military contingent, started sending military cargo to the Karabakh separatists via an alternative land route to Lachin. As this road is currently under the control of the Azerbaijani military, Armenia and Russia will try to pass the military cargo through the road where the protest took place again in unchecked vehicles. Because there are no other ways. The only alternative to prevent this is to create a border-crossing point at the end of the Lachin road, where all vehicles, including those belonging to Russia, should be checked.
